This is a picture of Dan the “abominable snow man” after we spent last weekend blowing insulation in the walls and ceiling of the house.
A few weeks ago we had decided to enlarge the semi-warm storage in the attic, widen the entrance to the attic and install a pull down stair of sorts for easy access. Much to our surprise while widening the entrance we discovered that there was NO and I repeat, no insulation in the ceiling above the master bedroom (No wonder, my room always felt like the inside of a refrigerator during the fall and winter)! So… one “small” project lead to a bigger project and so on…
It was nice to have Talon and Kelsey around to help with everything. Dan worked the blowing end of the hose while I moved lights around, fed hose to Dan and manned the walkie talkie for communicating with Talon and Kelsey who were outside feeding the cellulose into the blower. Twenty nine bags later we were done!!!!!!!!
